The wedding and reception will be at the Coronado Community Center's Nautilus Room and adjacent lawn.
While there is a parking lot (149 cars) next door, it is open to the public and first come, first serve. Please consider carpooling or using alternative modes of transportation (although sadly, public transit in Coronado is not superb)
The venue, its outdoor patios, and ALL of Coronado are STRICTLY NON-SMOKING. Sorry for the inconvenience, but our contract emphasizes that smoking is grounds for withholding our deposit or ending the event. Thanks for not smoking!
California beach formal wedding attire requested (interpret as you wish, just don't be mistaken for a tourist walking by).
The ceremony and happy hour reception will be outside on Glorietta Bay, currently predicted to be in the 60s (~20C). Please bring a light jacket or shawl if you get cold easily.
There are several hotels within walking distance (~0.5 mi) of the venue:
Staying off of the "island" will typically be cheaper (and more accessible to North County activities before the wedding).
For our out of town guests trying to get in quality time: On the night before the wedding (Saturday), Ujala and family will stay in Coronado; Chris and family in Encinitas. We will all be staying in Coronado Sunday night.
